Risk assesment, don't marry, don't cohabitate. Dating is your thing fine. Just realize it is temporary, she is not yours, it's just your turn, maybe for weeks, months, years. I swimmed with sharks 2 weeks ago and felt safer than when I was with my ex.

I've been monking for about 2 years now, before that I did try anything - LTR, cohabitation, short term, just shuffling plates, ONS, whatnot, and to be honest being a monk is the best of all, you save a shitload of money with porn and nobody fucks with your head, you can minimize your working hours and maximize the time you spend on hobbies and stuff you actually like, no downsides to that really.

just know the risks and know female nature / behaviour. be ready for the bullshit (her flirting / fucking your friends ... not being able to keep her 100% happy ... etc)

I dont necesarily look at MGTOW as celibacy. I look at it more like MGTOW are kinda more chill and cooler. It does literally say go your OWN way. So do what you want.

Red-pill is a larger umbrella over MGTOW but if I look at the red-pill sub, I quickly realize I dont follow thier mindset as well as I fit in with posts here.

Or do you guys recommend just keeping light/small relationships with women for sexual partners?

Personally I used to have regular FB/FWB and now I have downscaled that to only and simply hooking up occasionally, often repeating women but not necessarily.

most ill do is take em to a home in the wall bar for a few beers. $20 is the max i ever pay including food and tip. Women are not worth much more...at least not to me if i even take em out.

The whole point of going your own way is that you do what is right for you. For me, casual flings are my thing. I like to meet women, maybe go on a few dates, have sex, keep that up until it seems they want a commitment, then move on. More often than not they are on the same page as me. I'm a great first date but I am blessed with being a mess of a person. It's fun to get to know but once you know it all you realize there is no room for a real relationship, let alone marriage, so girls just fade out of my life.

Others need monk mode. There are many reasons. Some are a choice, but lets be real for many it is because they cannot get the kind of girls they would like for short term flings without being used or manipulated in certain ways they can't afford or at least don't like. Others actually still go on to get married.

My advice? Just be 'single' for awhile. No strict rules just no actual relationship. See what happens with that. See if you like it. If you like it, don't change it. If you feel yearnings for other things then experiment with those. If those work, stick with them. If they don't, learn to balance out those yearnings against the problems they create.
