Therein lies the different between MGTOW, INCELS, BRAINCELS, etc, etc.

We know what is beyond the threshold of divorce and marriage, and are strong enough to overcome the mindless urges of the flesh.

Instead, we indulge in the more difficult path in enlightenment. Or at the very least, in more simplistic indulgences that are for the most part; harmless to our person, and certainly do not cause immediate and direct harm to others.

People will always ridicule what they do not accept. (Not understand, they *know* we've got it figured out, but they cannot break free from being one step above animals.)

You do you. In the end, you are the only person you can rely upon who walks this world.

I'm not a gamer but found people who criticize gamers are often times idiots attempting to deflect from their miserable life. That is the true coping mechanism I've seen in the dynamic. What's more, guys I know who are gamers are oftentimes loaded b.c. they're not blowing money on other things. We all have hobbies - only the guy in a miserable relationship is the one often asking for "permission" to partake in his...lol

Well it depends. A ps4 can be a coping mechanism. No different from alcohol, aside from the fact it doesnt kill your liver. Porn is also a coping mechanism. Learn to analyze your habits logically, and not with your feelings. You can tell yourself all day "I don't FEEL like my habit of playing video games 12 hours a day 7 days a week is bad". But you should always take a good hard look in the mirror and consider if there is something else that you could to to improve your mental state.

I just recently moved to a new job in a new state, and I found myself coping with video games. I didn't stop the moment I realized I was using it to cope, but I definitely weaned myself off of it. I can play video games any time I want, but that doesnt mean I NEED to. When an activity becomes a need in my brain, I self wean. It often times involves filling that activity time with another activity, so be careful not to jump from one coping mechanism to another.

I saw that thread. Hadn't looked at that sub in months and since there was so much incel crap showing up in here i thought I'd browse and see what they discussed when they had free reign.

So they saw one of us was happy with a purchase of something fun to goof around with, and that ended up leading to a standard discussion about how life has no meaning without banging chicks and they're going to kill themselves, blah blah, this or that is a cope, blah blah.

It's like a depression forum where the members share tips on how to be miserable. Jeez louise.
