Simply put to MGTOW, "The juice isn't worth the squeeze." Meaning women are not worth the risk and effort for any reward it may bring.

TheRedPill thinks the juice is worth the squeeze. If a MGTOW becomes more confident, financially successful, gets in the best shape of his life, the only focus in which he does it for is HIMSELF. TheRedPill can do the same thing but with the focus being divided between himself and women. Without women, TheRedPill basically becomes worthless.

Functionally speaking, RP men still engage in relationships, dating, even marriage with women, whereas MGTOW has come to the realization that the "juice isn't worth the squeeze" and have decided to not play the game, some MGTOW still engage in FWB, ONS but all agree that marriage is a raw deal for men.

Redpill is an expression from the movie Matrix, and it means seeing the truth. No more no less. What is the truth and what to do is another discussion.

Since for most men sex is important, most of the discussions on Redpill are about the true nature of men and woman, their true psychology and so on. The practical approach to women using this new acquired truth is called Game.

MGTOW is another approach descending from Redpill, it means Men Going Their Own Way. That is, men deciding alone what's best for them regardless of what society, government, church tell them.

None of this is a new philosophy, they existed since the ancient history.

MGTOW and RP both believe the female relationship manipulation does not work. MGTOW tend to believe that the solution is for men to develop without participating in female relationship manipulation. RP tend to believe the solution is redefining the female relationship manipulation. There is a ton of overlap. These is a ton of disagreement. Men tend to be pretty fluid moving from one idea to another back and forth. Giving up the idea that the female relationship manipulation will always fail for an individual is extremely tough thing.

It is possible to be female and a RP. The same is not true for a MGTOW.

Neither have uniforms or an initiation oath. You do not need to pick one and stick with it. Although, from my experience personal peace is not achievable unless you fully embrace MGTOW.

TRP is the truth about female nature. As far as TRP Reddit goes this is about using that truth to improve your chances with women. It's sexual strategy. It involves the PUA tactics that actually get women attracted to you.

Mgtow says I don't care about any of that and will spend my time and energy for myself. If a women comes along and wants to fuck, maybe. But it's not going beyond that. A mgtow fully understands the risk involved with women and the gynocentric society, so they choose not to get involved in it. As others have said "the juice is not worth the squeeze."

TRP consists of MGTOW, MRA and PUA. TRP is seeing the truth. MGTOW means ignoring women. MRA means fighting against women. PUA means tricking women.

THere could be more than one definition to any word, so first you need to differentiate:

There is Red pill as metaphor, that was taken from the Matrix movie and just meant knowledge. And had nothing to do with action, or how a person should act.
There is theredpill subreddit, which maybe some time ago were focused on knowledge, but not anymore. Now, from their perspective, you should also, in addition to being aware, act a certain way to be considered red pill, and the way you should act is old PUA way.

In its original meaning both, MGTOW and PUA could be redpill, or aware of true reality.

EDIT: Red pill as metaphor could be applied to many things, it could be politics, god and religion. It could be considered buzzword.
