Frequent lurker here, and I seem to recall a social media bashing post a couple months back that really resonated with me. Well I took the first step to backing off of social media completely, which has been a goal of mine for 2019. I totally disabled/deleted/whatever my instagram. I don't frequent Facebook much at all, don't even have the app on my phone, but I was somewhat obsessed with IG, so that had to go. I can't attest to any feelings of liberation just yet, but it feels good to take the first steps to coming back to reality.

Edit: I just got auto banned from r/offmychest for participating in this sub? The reasoning was "For participating in a redpill/incel subreddit you have been permanency banned from this sub." I had forgotten I have subscribed to that sub lol
