I was a 1st/2nd grade teacher for 10 years. I run into most of those kids (who are in high school now) there at the youth service at my church often. They hate their moms. These kids are not stupid.
Their moms are fucking worthless, and it is worse because now these single moms park and get off so they could see their kid's former teacher every time..
All smiles and dressed like complete hoes when they come to greet me. It use to be a quick parking lot drop off, but I know these kids go home bragging about me to their moms since I give then attention and fatherly advice. These kids faces light up.

I notice there is a shift with these kids as well because some of these kids are FULLY AWARE that their moms are pulling shit to keep dad away from them. That doesn't work, besides that a judge doesn't change things based on what they do with the money. They decide custody and visitation. Whoever gets most of the visitation gets paid an amount decided by another state entity. A judge can take away custody and visitation based on bad parenting and that doesn't include what they do with the money.
Source - My father was a very good attorney for 40 years and I saw it in action myself. I get 850 a month taken out mf my checks and my son would be in rags and no shoes if I didn't buy them for him. It's fucked up.

Yes, being a mother is a job, but your “employer” is your own god damned self. You got yourself into that shit, and as such youre taking on the responsibilities. Yes, its extra work for no pay, but that was the job description you accepted when you decided to hire yourself for it.
Youre supposed to go out and have your own job and pay for your own “needs”, AND youre “supposed” to pay for your own child as well out of your earnings. The child support is “supposed” to pay for the other parents share of the child raising as a supplement to what youre doing so the burden doesnt fall entirely on you.
In reality, child support is seen as their “payment” for raising the child, and then they probably feel like the man should give them more money too to buy supplies for the kid (aka what the child support money is for). As it is, weve all seen the cases where some well-to-do people wind up paying child support in numbers that cant possibly justify all being spent on a child or its quality of life (i.e. multiple thousands a month +). Why does a child require support to the magnitude that it gets more support money than some mens yearly salary? No wonder why they think they deserve it as their personal paycheck.
