Do you ever feel lonely?

I am alone, but not lonely. Frankly, I enjoy my solitude and not having to deal with all the dramas, that being an active member of the society has to deal with. Even more so, specifically no wymyn in my life is a pure blessing. I can never be cheated on, manipulated, controlled, divorced, etc., and if so called loneliness is the price, then so be it.

The last two years of my marriage were absolutely miserable r/DeadBedrooms terrible, we didn't talk to each other about anything unless it was absolutely necessary (like 'We got the electric bill today' and with out saying anything in return, I rummaged through the mail, found the bill, wrote the check, and handed it to her to mail off) If she needed gas in her car, I'd tell her which card we were using that week.

I was still madly in love with the woman, but that was a one way street, the relationship was over, the friendship was over, there was nothing.

Now imagine this situation, your in a room next to the only person you want to be with, you've spent half your life with this person, you have memories of happy times, laughs, a closeness that can't even be described... but now, nothing... just nothing.

I was in my own home, and even with the love of my life in the very same room, I was lonely.

I've always worked in a trade that would put me in the most remote places of the world for days/weeks at a time where there was no one around for miles, complete isolation from the outside world, when I was working, I was simply alone.

Since the divorce, I have been alone, but I have never felt lonely.

And THAT, to me is the biggest benefit to being MGTOW.

Being alone is peaceful, being lonely is a f'ing nightmare especially when the one person that can end the torture your feeling is sitting in the very same room, making it all happen; and that is what my marriage and MGTOW has taught me.

I will NEVER feel lonely again.

Have I ever felt lonely? Yes, its what got me in the mess called marriage.

Do I now? No. I'm fine being alone . Difference between internal validation and external validation is huge.

I have started to accept that because I’m bald and overweight I will never find someone. I have started to feel less lonely but more “used to it” if that makes sense.

We all do sometimes. I battle feelings of loneliness with hobbies and having multiple groups of friends. On a normal month my agenda is so full, I’m usually glad if I have a weekend alone

I was far more lonelier when sleeping in the other bedroom. The wife used to be in the master bedroom of course.

I have never felt lonely. Even when I am alone, I don't feel lonely. Infact, I very rarely feel any negative emotions.

I grew up very depressed, but for some magical reason, the day I stopped caring about the standards that society tries to put on me (specifically about women), was the day I stopped feeling depressed. I go through life saying and doing whatever the fuck I want to, and it works for me.

I live in the feminized and censored Sweden, I'm probably the least PC and feminist person in this cuntry (I know how to spell country), I work for the government, but no one has managed to stop me from being me.

as many others have said — I can be alone, but not really lonely. if anything I have too much social interaction for my tastes.

nothing compared to the deadbedroom-situation before my divorce ages ago. that was the time when I truly felt lonely
