Not really happening to me. Just stop, but don't change direction. Make her avoid your space as she walks by. Check your phone or something, let her pass, then keep going.

Had a guy at work do this to me a couple of times, some kind of macho power play bull crap. Started just stopping and ignoring him, he eventually would walk around me.

This is definitely a thing. It happened to me in Asia all the fucking time. Stupid painted faced 20-something university students trying to get a little bit of power. Ridiculous games.

This happened to me with a young African-American kid (maybe 10 years old) in the grocery store once. I'm walking along with my basket, 2/3rds of the aisle wide open, and this kid sees me, and purposefully comes over and walks right at me, he's sure that I'm going to trip over my own feet, excuse myself and get out of HIS way.

Instead I kept on going normal speed and plowed into him with my hand basket. Kid goes "Woof!" as the air is knocked out of him and I'm thinking, "Jesus, I should be more careful, this could easily turn out bad for me." Just then I hear his Mother yell at him, "See? That's what you get for playing your stupid games! I told you!!"

I used to do that. Now I don't. I dont try to be a dick but I think the closer I am to you I think you and I both have decided what side of the walkway to be on to pass eachother.

Dude I noticed this. Or when you're trying to pass their slow ass they seem to gravitate towards you so you can't pass them. What is the deal with that? I work at a hospital and I always wondered if it was intentional.

I wish I was kidding! They use these tactics to "empower" themselves seeking a male to "move" so she can feel all her glorious power i.e. not yielding to a male and resisting male power and forcing HIM to yield space. Neat isn't it?? Yes they are that immature!

I think it's retarded. They are taking their frustrations on known or unknown males out on unsuspecting males. I mean I avoid them like the plague on the sidewalks and I've heard of this before and I've observed a couple of weird situations exactly like you've described!

I bet they discuss these tactics on their sub-reddits. I'd research and find out, but I honestly don't care to find out and they are not worth of my precious research time.

This is how womenfolk flirt, they stand in your way, they try to collide into you, they walk 3 times past you winking with their as, playing the "look at me" dance.

I have figured out that a good prevention is to wear crappy shoes, they most often check you from top to bottom and if they see out of shape shoes they quit. :)

I watched a girl do this to my girlfriend one time. I watched her make eyes at her when she wasn't looking and drove her shopping cart directly at her in an open parking lot. Women are fucking psychotic, but I think in that situation, I think the other woman was just a racist. Not sure about the ego thing.

In learned about this in psychology. If you walk slowly and keep your head slightly down/check your phone,person going your direction will most likely change their direction to avoid collision. I implement this every day,works for men and women. One of the reasons why they most likely avoid is because im pretty buffed so thats kinda double check not to collide.
