I love doing my own thing. have no problem going a whole weekend without any social engagements. I used to force myself in to social situations but since mgtow I only do more social things when I feel inspired. nothing wrong at all with being a loner in my opinion.

Einstein and Hitchcock protected their solitude, and so do I. I would not say I enjoy it like a $100 seat at the ballgame or a first class seat to SE Asia or a Porterhouse steak with sauteed mushrooms and a big spud. But if I don't get my solitude, I am not an enjoyable person. My time is just part of my day, and those around me know that time is for me and nobody else is welcome there. If my time is undisturbed, everyone else has a nice day as well. If not, watch out.

I need time to think and consider. Not that I need to think through how to brush my teeth. But I like to plan out my life with ample backup plans in the anticipation of other people not doing what they are supposed to do. I am an introvert by nature, I work alone, I work out alone, I sleep alone, but I am not lonely. My dog is my pal, and is better company (in general) than most humans I know. I have human buddies for games, hobbies, etc but I would not want stomach these people around me 24/7 like I can handle my dog's presence. I have fuck buddies over in SE Asia that I visit twice a year for a slut binge in the Philippines, but would I want bitches with me 24/7/365? Are you kidding?

Forcing myself to act like an extrovert, or any kind of outgoing conversationalist, ends in poor taste, so the alternative to being an introvert is unpalatable for all. Thus, I don't make that stretch anymore.

I'm fairly outgoing, but I dont go out TO meet new people. I go where I go, and will chat up anyone who can stand me. I've made some good friends that way.

Though I too enjoy solitude as well. It brings peace, plus less clothes required, just chill in my wrist watch.

I go to the strip bar some nights recently and when I go I go alone.

I am very friendly towards everyone, but I mostly keep to myself until someone starts interacting with me or approaches me. I am perfectly comfortable sitting at the bar alone. A real man is imo. I will either watch the girls dance or be on my phone reading. If someone chats me up I'm a big big conversationalist who loves to talk about a number of topics pertains from anything to literature, politics, pop-music from the 90's, to my last run in with Law Enforcement. whatever.

But for example, throw me inside a sorority house and expect me to mingle with every one and I'm gonna come across as an autist because it's too extroverted environment and I have a self awareness of the dominance hierarchy to such an extent that all the social circle/mating rituals tire me out and make me weary of people.

I like being a loner.

sometimes, as a introvert, i wish i have more friends, but then i realise and appreciate that i don't need other peoples approval to be happy all the time.

I was never good at making friends and I'm not a people person in general, so yeah I qualify for that. It's not bad either, I like the quiet time to just do whatever I want and no one else is there to take away from the experience.

I am an introvert. It’s not something I either enjoy or suffer from. It’s just the way I am. I wonder sometimes if I would have had a more successful career if I was more outgoing. It’s just my casual observation that the quiet workers never get beyond the entry-level in any field.

Very much so. I like being able to hear myself think. At some point I realized it is real hard to be happy if you never put aside the distractions and take the time to figure yourself out.

Enormously. It's a non-rare personality type to be social for a little time but enjoy long hours alone.Not only is it normal, but it is the personality group of some of the most talented.
