Sometimes, we see that 'ideal' family and we may feel envious or, perhaps, motivated to want the same thing.

Well, appearances can be deceiving. I will give two examples:

My uncle is very successful and has a large, paid-off house in the south of England. He has an attractive, well-educated wife and a nice, well mannered daughter (my cousin) and it all seems great on the surface.

However...

My uncle hasn't had sex in years and even once called my father in tears due to his frustrations. He often travels alone in his VW campervan (he converted it for his family) as his wife prefers to stay at home. He's often considered divorcing her, but he knows from experience (his brother; my father) he'll loose everything. Trapped.

Secondly, my father's best friend is a millionaire and has his own mortgage-free house, flat in London and a wife + three daughters. He's a Chad and his wife and daughters are very attractive. You could say, the picture perfect family.

However...

He uses his flat in London to fuck women when he's on business trips and his wife often holidays alone or with her friends. He often tells my father he feels a stranger in his own house and sometimes walks past his wife on the stairs without each other's acknowledgement.
