Mh. It's a reasonable proposition as long as it will not impact men either through legislation or taxation. If women can figure it out on their own, go for it. I'll watch bemusedly to see what the results are... But the caveat: abolish child support for men wanting to denounce paternal rights and duties, so men have control over whether or not they will support a child as well. Equality demands both ~~genders~~ sexes have their choice.

I’m pro choice. I don’t care how many abortions there are. That said: this is a very disingenuous argument. To the pro life crowd, this has nothing to do with reproductive freedom. They don’t differentiate between a baby and a fetus - to them, it’s a human being. No person in their right mind would say that a woman should be allowed to kill a child as part of reproductive freedom. The pro choice crowd only has a compelling side as long as you don’t believe a fetus is a human person.

Reproductive freedom is such a crock. Women aren’t told whether to have children, when to have children, who to have the children with, or how many children to have. Every one of those decisions is up to the woman, not the government. Pregnancy is a consequence of those decisions, and pro-life laws force women to deal with the consequences of their own decisions.

I think he is right, seriously. Women should not be forced to have an abortion or don't have one or whatever. However, I also think that men should have a choice as well. I the man says he doesn't want the child, but the woman insists on keeping it, the man should not be forced to pay for it. That would be the perfect compromise and absolutely fair in my eyes.
