A woman gets pregnant.

If a man wants to have the baby and she doesn't, she can have an abortion and there is nothing he can do to stop her.

Even after she has given birth, she can put in up for adoption, or just drop it off at a women's shelter and never have to be responsible for it.

If the man does not want the child, there is nothing he can do - he is stuck paying child support for the next 18+ years. Terrible double standards. The man should have the right to get a financial abortion, and sign over his rights to the child if he so chooses.

If women can abort when they don't want a child, men should be able to deny any kind of support if he doesn't want a child.

Um. No. A dead beat specifically refers to a guy who HAS kids but chooses not to take care of them or be around. Not just some guy who has no kids. That would be known as a 'bachelor' ffs
