nobody wants to know that you are MGTOW, so don't tell them. this is being the change you want to see in the world. we aren't doing this for any effect it has on anyone else.

that said, it isn't really MGTOW when someone comes here to hide from their own ego long enough for their blue pill dreams to come true and all family law be reformed and gynocentrism scaled back. but there really can't be any litmus test to weed out such posers. because 1, what would we do with it, and 2, why would it matter? of course it wouldn't matter, it's not like the blue pill mainstream is ever going to like us anyway. and of course what we would do with it is fight amongst ourselves.

and that's why you're here, because of men fighting amongst ourselves.

to me, MGTOW is a form of behavioral therapy. you start by modifying your behavior to act like you are your own priority. you will eventually form your thoughts to justify yourself as your own priority. to this end, I make certain recommendations. of course i'm not the king of MGTOW, and you can take this advice or leave it.

it's ok to fight, we're designed to be good at it. but fighting other men at the behest of women or in hopes of ingratiating ourselves to women is what leads to unchecked gynocentrism. therefore, I propose no shitting on other men. by this I mean a) do not take a woman's side over a man's without sufficient evidence b) do not impute improper sexual motive, claim sexual deviancy, or otherwise shame the sexuality of any other man who is attempting to go his own way c) do not do for a woman what you would not do for a similarly situated man and d) do not enforce, even verbally, any female centered view of what a "real man" is. when you do these things you are consenting to have them done back to you.
do something you think is good. tell no one. not even me. I am forever indebted to u/DWShimoda for leading me down the path that unlocked this great truth of MGTOW. this can mean anything. give to your preferred charity anonymously (and without the tax write off) if you are uncreative. otherwise, write a book, and never let anyone read it. record a song and never play it for anyone. build all the furniture for your house, and insist that it is store bought. whatever suits your talents. just tell no one.
limit your exposure to female influence. be conscious of the aspects of women that you are sympathetic to and keep this self knowledge at the forefront of your mind whenever you partake in any communication with women. this guideline was added to this list as a result of a (respectful and productive) fight I got into a long time ago with u/noomene about item #1
limit your taxable transactions to the bare minimum for you to pursue your own projects. actively plan to deprive the state of revenue. I recommend never going above a 15% marginal federal income tax rate, but if you have debts, kids, or expensive tastes in lifestyle or fulfillment, you may need to exceed this.
be alone, and enjoy your own company. you need to have a day each week at least that you just don't talk to anyone. and you need a few hours each day that you just don't talk to anyone. use this time to organize your thoughts while you go through the motions of home maintenance and etc.

Not a single word about what your interests are, what your hobbies are, what you want to do, what do you enjoy, what are your goals?

Best thing you can do now is to put away and hide as much money as possible, while technically not legal... well, the ship is sinking. There are ways to do it smartly and without leaving traces to get caught. Maybe that's what she's doing herself.

Then, take care of your mental health. I have been through 2 divorces myself, the first one I was a BP/BP and it destroyed me.

Don't be surprised if your desire to date again never comes back. Mine did not. I would suggest you get that divorced finalized, even if you have to do the paperwork yourself. Don't let her destroy her credit and take yours with it (which can happen when you are married). Just get it behind you and then start enjoying your life. Take some time, get to know yourself. Start doing things you're interested in. I don't care if its reading comic books. Enjoy yourself. There's no one left to judge you, my friend.
