I don't care who said it, but it's true. Quit my job, trying to work from home, introverted as shit, don't need ANY company. Absolutely happy sitting at home, drawing, playing games, watching old movies (new ones are all shit). Have to drag my ass out twice a week for gym (can't allow myself to lose health now, can I) and shops -- even that is a huge drag for me.

Hermit here and can confirm. After work, I pretty much just want to relax and chill out alone. It's way better than my coworkers who come home to their kids running around and screaming and your wife always upset about something and the dog constantly barking in the background.

Funnily enough this became a mantra a while back, when I had one shitty client too many, one too many customer not paying bills.

I decided to effectively cut people out of my life. Now I live in the Caribbean, with a blog selling guns to American people without dealing with one single customer. It's an affiliate set-up, so I just refer sales to actual dealers and take a cut that is all managed and paid every month.

It is exactly how I wanted it.

I have a selection of barely legal whores to choose from when the mood strikes. It's perfect. And it's very achievable if you really set your mind to it, and don't get distracted or discouraged.

Once you're committed, change but do not quit. Evolve, all that bullshit, but keep doing it. That's what keeps most people as a slave, not talent. Most of em just gave up too soon. I didn't see a dime for six months, didn't make consistent money for a year and it wasn't enough to live on for two years. But now it is.

Whatever you want to do, from blogs to dropshipping to social media marketing, you can probably turn a profit in around a year. You just have to choose one, stay laser focused, learn like it's a Masters and be prepared to fuck up as you go.

I am not special, this Tom Hardy quote is right. You can do it too.

I enjoy being with people if there's a group doing something that just involves heading out for drinks or a dinner at someone's house, but I no longer try to make those things happen myself like I used to. It scares me just how peaceful it can be to not have to deal with anyone else's shit and to still enjoy yourself. I'd say it's different to how it used to be, you used to sit at home, read a book or maybe just heading to the store, renting a VHS and watching it at home...now everyone's got access to the internet to entertain them 24/7 so I guess there's less of a need to interact as there used to be.

I could not say it better myself - and I don't care that it didn't originate with him. I live alone and I love it. If I didn't have to physically go into work, I'd never see people again. No one around me understands this. They always think they have to get me "out of the house" to "cheer me up". No, if you leave me alone, I'll be very happy. In fact, leave your dog with me and go away. I know the dogs that live in my apt building but couldn't tell you their mom's and dad's names. They are simply Oshie's mama, etc... (Hope it's ok I'm a woman posting this.)

Everyone around freaked when I went solo. I had to fire my therapist. Best choice I ever made. The neighbors got a bit skiddish when they caught me talking to my dog. I get constant judgement from my family. It can get a little sporty when you ghost your community. Just gonna build some equity in my home for another year or two. Las Vegas poolside or Florida sound nice.

Yikes, sad to see some comments here. I understand not liking people in general, in the crowds its only the bad apples that stick out constantly. I also understand going through the redpill anger phase of grieving the truth, but relationships with individuals make life infinitely more interesting and valuable. We have this ability to draw each other out leaving us with far more. Yea go your own way, be single, guard yourself against the troubles of women, stop paying for all the bad behavior out there and have some self respect. Great. But don’t go hide away like buthurt hermits tail tucked between your legs hating the world/people, just pathetic. Atleast make bonds with healthy men. I’m an introvert, I need my time in solitude to recharge, but introverts need relationships with men and women just as well. Self chosen isolation is the damnation the images of decay/death/hell are all warning about. People don’t heal in isolation, they commit suicide. Take care of yourself out there, working on yourself includes working on your relationships friends/family. Yes that’s going to mean dealing with some friction at times in any relationship and some people need to be cut off completely, but the other side is worth it. Don’t just give up, instead get wise, get competent, learn, change, draw up new boundaries and new filters, sort yourself out, keep taking risks, don’t be a fool about them, don’t risk on what can destroy you, but taking no risks will also take you out.
