Yes, I have been in the setting of what I like to refer to as obligation sex. Obligation sex occurs when a woman feels that she needs to provide a little something in order to keep her man performing at an acceptable level in terms of resource provision, emotional support, and household chores. As I said, I have been in that situation, only to realize that over time it a erodes the pleasure of sex. In fact, engage in pity sex long enough, and you'll come to detest the act itself. The reason for this is simple. Obligation sex is an insult. Despite the fact that women insist that men are simply horn balls and will fuck anything that moves, Men actually require sex for intimacy. This is a fundamental biological need and women have consistently failed to understand, or more likely give a damn, about this specific need. Once you realize that women don't care to understand what is important to a man, even the man who provides for them in every other aspect of their life, you become mgtow.

The real difference is guys have a biological drive to obtain sex specifically and girls do not. Sure girls enjoy sex but they don't enjoy it any differently than say getting an ice cream cone. In other words they are fine replacing sex with other fun activities. Guys cannot do this and do not have this option.

Actually, the real difference is that men have a societal burden placed on them which requires them to overcome their basic biological instincts or subjugate those basic biological instincts in order to provide for a woman's basic biological needs, which is to say resources.
The problem is not so much that men and women differ in their basic biological needs, but rather that is acceptable for women to demand that men meet their biological requirements without doing the same for their partner. In other words, the problem is reciprocity. Women choose bettas because they're capable of providing the resources that they need. Bettas choose the women that they do because they think they're capable of providing for their biological requirements. The obligation, however, Falls entirely on the shoulders of the man. These women are not exactly supermodels, but these men are still devoted to meeting their biological needs. The women, on the other hand, have no qualms about denying the man who provides for them and makes their life comfortable. The real problem is that one gender has integrity, understands reciprocity, and has a sense of justice. The other gender is female.

I agree. I guess I was taking the broad view, as you point out. My argument is, and always will be, that women lack basic constructs of reciprocity, which stems from fairness. Yes, she may not want to fuck you because you are in the bottom 85%, but it defies logic (another trait almost exclusive to males), that women who are themselves of low SMV would treat a guy the very way they themselves would not want to be treated by high SMV men. It ties into your point really, which is that we must accept that this is reality, even if it defies logic and basic human decency. We must accept it because, once we do, life because easier.

It all has to do with sexual attraction. You can never negotiate it. Some men have to accept the fact that they are no chad so any attractive woman they are with is probably just settling because the clock is ticking. This is why you get dead bedrooms. I'd assume that if the woman is not so attractive she might be willing for more sex since very few men would want to bang her, but as soon as a more handsome man gives her attention you got the same problem.
