She is apparently not comfortable with being on her own. Having step kids under her roof gives her some control of new guy. She can paint it as "Brady Bunch" as she wants; there is a financial reason for this, along with whatever self image issues she may have. With her thumb up this guys ass, she can get the lawn mowed, the trash out, and the spiders killed. Most importantly, she creates enough noise in her world that she never has to listen to the doubts in her own head. She never has to think that maybe it could be her fault. She can fill up the void with instagram super-mom bullshit. Nobody cares. New-dude is nothing to her, she replaces them instantly. He is gonna find that shes not his, it was only his turn.

Likely so for a segment of divorced women. Provided any kids you may share with this woman are safe and you get time with them, who gives a shit? She is gonna keep doing the same shit that has worked for her since she was 14 or so. Sooner or later shes gonna hit the wall and the game is over. If she has not yet hinted about getting back with you, wait for that, when she realizes that she is past her expiration date.

I once mingled with a single mother, husband in jail, she said she's not interested in shagging but we shagged multiple times, she have two kids because husband caught her cheating so the first kid existed to show him she loves him, second kid is a repeated incident to hoping to "cage" him down, didn't work and the guy ended up in jail for fraud. She shows the whole world she loves the kids on social media, but being able to shagged her so often i saw the truth on how she treats them, not good. We even shagged while her kids is asleep in the same room, she started it and okay with it. She hooked a new simp later on and now the simp is paying for her and the kids, good "dad"? sure but when she doing monkey branching behind him so often i kinda pity him.
