I always think about how for most of human history, we lived in small tribes. The men went out to hunt and gather, and the women stayed at the camp and took care of the children etc. I think that’s where the whole “men shut up and take action” come from, both biologically and culturally. That also explains why women generally love to talk more (nonsense) and talk behind people’s backs and why they love to bitch all the time.

I'm guessing here, but it could be that women talk more, and talk nonsense, because that mode of speech is useful for teaching children to speak. It certainly isn't useful for conveying accurate and factual information between adults, which is why I prefer talking to men.
