Facing the fact that you're falone can be very hard. I've went back and forth with this idea for a long time because the reality is accepting being alone doesn't just happen over night. The cycle for me has always been this: see or meet a girl I find attractive, act on that attraction (talk to her, get her number and so on), get rejected, hate myself for thinking that such a girl would be into me, "accept" the fact that I'm meant to be alone, and then of course meet another girl and the cycle repeats. Now I understand that all of this had to happen because It allowed me to slowly and gradually accept being alone.

I don't feel sad or angry about it anymore thanks to my extensive experience with rejection, I'm finally okay with being alone. I don't chase women anymore and the ironic part is lately things have been going differently with the girls I meet and yet, I'm not letting that pull me back into the whole thing. I'm not even really interested in the majority of girls i meet. I've finally accepted that I'm alone, and this acceptance helped me write this song about how it's actually okay to be alone.
