I started my job career in 2007, now i earn 10x more than when i started. I don't spend much, i save as much possible, invest so i can stop working ASAP. From my investments i usually get the same i earn on regular job yearly. No debts, no credit cards, not fully independent yet, but on a good way.

Oh, i never let my wife spend my money. We share all the bills. Without this strict rule i would never be able to save for my investments.

Not having a wife or kids makes FIRE in 20 years pretty manageable.

Every single MGTOW should be able to become a millionaire.

It will take 10-50 years though.... depending on a wide variety of variables.

Some tips that worked for me:

move to a place where there are many wealthy people per capita
learn to love working
be pathologically thrifty, but not to the point where people shun you
Refuse to be shamed by others because you've done well based on your 10-50 years of smart decisions and sacrifices

Dude I use to make over 100k in a place where the average income was about 35k. I went all minimalist and often live on less than 24k a year these days. In place of the money I have lots of time to do what I want, pursue my personal and business interests, write, grow weed and so on. Thanks 4 hour work week (Tim Ferris).

I have money to buy the things I want (cameras, 3d printers, drones, PC's and so on) and some money in the bank. I pay cash for everything and live over seas 4 to 6 months out of the year most years. This is part of stretching my income even further to maximize my buying power and thus my quality of life.
