I found MGTOW a little over a month ago. I was pretty MGTOW as a young adult but fell for the relationshit. Everything was great until it wasn't. I left work a little over a year ago to finish a terminal degree and change careers. I came home from my defense (successful) and got dumped. She had decided unbeknownst to me to start riding the CC again. So I was homeless, unemployed, lost my kids, my house, my dog, and everything else in my life. I had to move in with relatives so i wouldn't squander what little $ I had left after she wasted all of our savings.

I got up every day and started looking for work and trying to network. Every single day I got up and fought to fix my predicament. I started studying programming languages just in case I had to do that for a living. And I hate programming! I started making marketing materials and calling businesses for consulting work. I attended tons of networking events all over town. I'm an introvert and had to shake hands with tons of people. I had to keep at it because I wasn't going to lose.

This morning I got my call. I've changed career fields and kept my old pay. I just wanted to tell this story so anyone out there that's suffering knows you can still win. Just keep fighting and you'll make it! Grow your skills and go fight!

The second theme is never let yourself be vulnerable like I did. I trusted her and got severely burned. Always keep your health and safety in mind when you're making life decisions! Always!
