Another incredible Facebook post today from a business contact of mine. I am not making this up. According to an article in the New York Post, a Viking skeleton that archaeologists had dug up in the 1800s was just reexamined, and found to be female rather than male. https://nypost.com/2017/09/08/viking-skeletons-dna-test-proves-historians-wrong/ This woman, whoever she was, died over a thousand years ago, and according to the examination, was only about 5'6" tall.

This woman, who is chubby and in her fifties, shares this news with this line: "No doubt! #womenpower #girlpower"

The stupidity and arrogance of this just bends my mind. Someone a thousand years dead turns out to be female, and that means what? That you're a warrior? You can barely pick up your laptop? That girls can do anything? Really? I don't care what kind of armor you're wearing, if you're 5'6" and it's AD 1000 and you're in Norway or somewhere a) that is not anything approaching scary; and b) no, girls cannot do anything. Like fight. For crying out loud, when will this bullshit stop? Ever?
