It's sad, they're encouraged to do this too. A little girl is dressed up as a princess and told she's a princess, maybe has a castle and everything. You ever seen a little boy dressed as a king? I've only seen police man, cow boy, astronaut, farmer, you know.... jobs.

From as soon as they can walk around they're indoctrinated that they are the queen fairy princess of everything and that the boys are going to work. When I was a kid, girls had play kitchens and practised cooking, they babysat their teddy bears, etc. Positive feminine activities. This whole "YASSSS GIRL, EVERY GIRL IS A PRINCESS" bullshit, parents putting slut makeup on their 8 year old girls, it's all recent. The feminist wave pink tsunami keeps rolling and like any giant force of destruction, leaves little recognizable in its wake.

Soap operas really are at least as toxic as Kartrashians etc way before they came along. I cannot tell whether it is 'art' imitating life or life imitating 'art', I'm inclined to think it's just a feedback loop, one reinforcing the other, all the drama, Machiavellianism and gossip depicted in soap operas normalised.
