Because society is held on the backs of men. Without men acting like labotomized slaves but rather for themselves, it threatens society. The thing is society at large is over playing its hand, there was a certain respect for hard working men who would climb the corporate latter, provide for a family and treat women like gentleman. Now however, all those things will get you called a misogynistic pig holding women back and perpetuating the "patriarchy". Society wants men to behave the same way, but have full impunity to tear them apart for it on a whim. MGTOW simply says fuck that shit you're on your own, we wont wife up and subsidize the insane modern females, we live moderately or at least only for ourselves and our brothers. Society simply cant have that. Their favorite tactic to get you under their thumb? Shame and blame, like calling us big fat man baby rapists will bring us back to the plantation.

Its a threat to people who have power. Government loses money from the cut of weekly checks from women. Women lose power over the ability to manipulate men for their money. Traditional people lose the conventional wisdom that men and woman need each other to have society function

Some women can’t really stand the fact that there are men who are genuinely not interested in them. Plus societal pressure and highly overrated importance of sexually active life (you should marry, you should have kids, if you don’t have sex you’re a loser). Basically people see men who decide to opt out of that world as some freaks and weirdos. Well, the joke’s on them, because guess who is not going to be stuck with alimony payments and won’t lose half of his money, a house, and a dog.

Its not hate at women, it hate at what society has become. We are pretty much slaves to the women. We have always been, but in the past at least they didn't throw it in our faces.

Because it puts out a lot of hate. I thought this group might be more like a tao/Buddhism sort of “let it all go”. It’s a lot of angry people saying hateful things.
I feel y’all, I really do. But hate isn’t the way to go, and this bs isn’t healthy. Learn to meditate, do some martial arts - if it’s still focused on women you’re not going your own way.
