Tell your friends & family that you’re taking a break from the dating game to get your head on straight and back on your feet. No need to tell them you’re dropping out of the dating game. Normal folks have a hard time understanding a man who doesn’t require female validation. At best, they’ll assume you’re gay. At worst, they’ll assume you’ve gone crazy and try to get you locked up.

Honestly I've had no problems telling my friends and family that I don't want to date. How they deal with what I tell them is something I give no fucks about.

Most of my bros understand when I say that because they've had their fair share of bad experiences with women too.

Welcome to the sub, I've been here for quite some time and seen the gradual changes before this current brigade, if we have survived this long even though media outlets/outside redditors/Saboteurs purposely skew our message, we have nothing to fret.

Honestly, you can't explain MGTOW to anyone. It is something you learn for yourself and perhaps you can open the doors for the others. Only they can walk through it for themselves though.

A lot of people who somehow find your views may try to argue with you over it. Don't debate them or try to explain. Just shrug your shoulders, make up an excuse, be pleasant and friendly, and move on.

Don't even bring the subject of dating or relationships up with friends or family. If they ask why you're single, just tell them that either your standards are too high, or the quality of women you meet are too low. That's what I say and it seems most men and women tend to agree with that statement. I also say it because it's true.
