I think I know that face on the right. It's everywhere now. Turns out, it comes out of a jar. You can put it on anybody and they will look like the same mannequin/porn star. Sometimes I think that's why regular cute girls have disappeared: everybody got fat, and nobody shows their real face in public anymore.

Better have beautiful soul and ugly face than the other way around. So many husks try to disguise their shallowness by being cute on the surface and wearing tons of fake up. I'd rather wear this scarred face as a badge of honor and actually have something to offer in terms of personality and interests rather than relying on this trickery.

This is the most acceptable use of make up, and I'd say she looks great with it on. You won't see the body acceptance movement talking about the left hand picture though

Up until I was 22 I suffered from severe psoriasis on my face, it covered probaly 85% of my face and looked like the skin has been peeled away exposing the flesh underneath. I looked hideus as you can imagine.

I went through life accepting that I'd always be shunned by society and never know love. Women would see me walking down the street and gasp in horror and cross the road to avoid me, children would point and stare and make comments... but they are chilldren I don't expect them to act like an adult.

One time I lady walked up to me in a store and asked me if i've been burnt in a fire. This is what I lived with until I was 22 and finally got it treated.

The treatment, steroid cream, literally took a couple of days to completely clear it up. I remember looking in the mirror on day 2 and actually seeing my actual face and not recognising myself. It was an existential crisis.

The next existential crisis was going out and walking down the street and being ignored, not in a bad way, but simply not getting a horrified reaction from strangers.

As days went on I gained more confidence and for the first time girls started to smile at me as they walked past, some would say 'hello'.

You know how this made me feel? It made me feel like shouting "fuck you, people like you used to treat me like shit, so fuck off".

My horrific face was my mask, I hid behind it, it protected me from being hurt emotionally. But, once that mask was gone I had nothing to hide behind, girls saw the real me and suddenly wanted to be with me. So naturally I started dating, lost my virginity, had some amazing sex with some hot women, but I still resented the fact that these same women would have had nothing to do with me if I had not got treatment.

The only ones who saw past my horrific face and loved me unconditionally were Jack and Sam (Jack being a german shepherd, and Sam being a Collie).

The left picture is still not the most tragic thing in the world. I've seen women who weren't burnt but look much worse without makeup and it was cause BY excessive makeup.
