The answer has never changed, the reason why this subreddit has only 80k subs. It's simply because the abuse isn't bad enough for a large number of men. Non-MGTOW is like being brainwashed.

We have been brainwashed from birth that the normality of things is to put women first, to pursue happiness by way of finding a good job so that we can deserve a good woman to marry us and have kids.

And in our pursuit, if things don't work out it's our fault or we're not good enough or we're not trying hard enough.

Because most men think they are the problem. They've been brainwashed to believe if a relationship fails or a girl cheats, its their fault. So they try harder. I don't fault them. That's the same stuff i believed until i came across youtube mgtow vids and realozed i wasn't the only one who had noticed that all women follow the same pattern. Well, you can afford to just bulldoze ahead with life itself and ignore women for 1-2 years, but it pays to be attentive on your journey. There are decent women out there who don't seek to exploit a man through her sexuality or through the court system. It sucks that trauma has made you paranoid, but it's hardly the time for you to go MGTOW. Red Pill Rage is healthy to deal with the aftermath of a relationship, but don't let it define your world view, use it as a learning tool to be attentive, not hateful.

It can happen to me, that's why you have to be careful, not paranoid, not hateful, but attentive. It's hard, you need to study deep psychology and start reading people in order to process simple fucking interactions. It's annoying, but it's a way to deal with it, and that's how we survive and grow.
