How has MGTOW changed you?

There was this long period of time where I intellectually completely understood that women were nothing but a negative influence on my life, that each life action I took was in order to get the validation of those around me. I knew this yet somehow I couldn't break the loop, I was stuck, then I found this lovely sub with men from vastly different backgrounds struggling with the same thing. I didn't snap out of it right away but eventually did snap out of it. Be it in private or public I'm never nervous because I simply don't need the validation of the people around me. My life became my own, I don't feel like the victim of anything and I don't need validation. From deeply insightful posts on here to lighthearted memes, from echo chamber to head butting, this sub is amazing and it has changed me immensely for the better. Thanks all you faggots.

I don't socialize with women anymore besides my friend's girlfriends/fiancé's. I enjoy more time in hobbies. My Facebook friend list has been cut down to 30% of what it used to be.

The biggest change for me is not chasing after social approval from women or the popular crowd. That and I'm less manipulatable.

I used to be a regular in r/ForeverAlone and r/Incel. I'm 20 years old, 21 in 3 months.

I'm much more productive, I'm able to juggle a part-time business (going full time after I graduate university. Want to get the ball rolling so I don't have to start from scratch.), lifting 5 days a week, breakdancing 6-7 days a week, guitar 6 days a week for 1 hour, and being an electrical engineering student. I also have 13k saved up in the bank (not usual for people my age), I cherish friendships much more and to top it all off, I'm less insecure. Many people would think the lifestyle I live is a suicide mission but it all comes down to how well you manage your time.

I also did social dancing for a period of time and was exposed to many females and their nature. I realized it was a commitment, and you need a special kind of mindset to function with a SO, and my brain is simply not wired on that. My brain is wired through achieving accomplishments and to channel my emotions through music and dance.

I know I sound kind of dramatic, but it really has been a fundamental shift for me. I see things in a different light and I feel better than I ever did when I was blue-pilled and lamenting some heartbreak in my 20's. Now the biggest emotional drama I have comes from feeling sorry for my blue-pilled amigos still in the trenches. MGTOW feels good man, it feels good.

Happier for sure. I was miserable in my 20s. Work definitely pisses me off from time to time but I can just walk away from that so it doesn't grind me that bad.

It's not a good place to be when you hate your job and have no control over your exit because of your debts. Not a good place at all.

One of the biggest changes at least for me is when ever a women gives me attention very rarely will I ever respond to her. Its difficult to find a reason to show interest back when it's all a stupid game

I now ignore women. Just don't look at them or talk to them. Since I'm no longer out there dating and spending roughly $600 per month socializing, my money now goes to paying off my debt. If everything works out for the next 6 to 8 months I'll be completely debt free. Then I'll start saving it.

Oh, and now I spend more time in the gym.

I have to admit that in my experience becoming MGTOW made my life a lot better. The surprise for me came mainly from the fact that the people here explained to me how they were treated and what the symptoms of the average woman are how they manipulate and treat a helping hand which just put an end to that feeling of me being broken in some way and having a fault which was crashing me. That feeling got replaced by self appreciation and understanding.

With that out of the way i could easily say that my life improved 5 fold the days of dark thoughts and misery almost vanished and the only time i get really fed up with shit outside of work in our days is under some extreme events in life which are unavoidable,when my only friend in a relationship(soon to be wed) is getting shit or from his soon to be wife or from reading some mens experiences here and see the hell they went through(which unfortunately only makes me feel better in general since i realize how not so bad i actually had it >.> ). So yeah... in general i am a much much better man for learning about MGTOW and becoming one!

I have a shit-ton of money now.

I have complete freedom to do what I want, when I want.

I never have to worry about holidays, or what I'm going to get my GF, or how I'm going to wine and dine her.

My mornings are peaceful without a moody bitch trying to fight with me every morning.

I don't have to worry about a gold digger trying trap me into marriage, so she can get half my pension and my assets.

It saved my life, literally. I was on the edge of killing myself because I did not recieve a lot of female validation that Chad and his friends Thad and Brad, Chads cousin Brent and Brents twin brother Trent, and Chads step brother Tyrone would get, and when I did, it was 95% negative.

I was always upset and miserable. I felt worthless because I wasn't able to please women, and society makes you seem like a loser if you can't make a woman happy and like you.

I always browsed around the "ForeverAlone" sites and watched videos of "Why girls only go for assholes" videos etc.

When I stumbled upon MGTOW, it taught me that this world is very unfortunate for people like me. It taught me that women are not the angels that society portrays. I learned this first hand when a goody good reserved girl in one of my classes, who I thought was probably a NAWALT and would not hurt a fly, ended up having a 4 sum with 3 players from the Football team inside the locker room after the last game of the year. You can see her instagram and Facebook of her posting pictures of herself with her family trying to come off as this "innocent, fragile angel" while also putting some bs inspirational quotes, but in reality she loves having all her holes clogged simultaneously.

MGTOW taught me the true nature of women and the importance of self-validation. I never met my father, so MGTOW is the father I never had. I thank MGTOW and my fellow MGTOW brothers for where I am today.

If it wasn't for MGTOW I would not be alive.

Before I was depressed constantly, worried about others perception and opinion of me. I wanted to improve myself and rid the control that fear of being shamed or cut off from other peoples validation had on me. Found PUA, typical RP bullshit and eventually MGTOW which was the catalyst to giving no fucks and finally letting go so I could change myself for the better. Feels like a giant weight was lifted off my back.

MGTOW gave me a 2nd chance at life.

I have money again
I have more me time again
I'm bent on improving myself as much as possible
I truly enjoy alone time and solitude now
I've TRULY stopped caring what others think, especially women. This may be the biggest and my most favorite change.

Viewing life through a RP/ MGTOW lens is the only way to view it now. I would never go back at this point.

Long time MGTOW here. I've carefully built a life for myself over the years that, especially since I retired early, has been the happiest time for me. My attitude toward women has changed. I used to think of them as natural caregivers who were nicer than men, companions who actually loved you for you. And very pleasurable to have sex with. A true friend that you can also fuck! I know, blue pill. So much cringe.

Nowadays I am much more skeptical of women with their manipulation and scheming. If they would just get fucking jobs, you know? Is that so hard? You want nice things, get a job. Nope. It's easier to use our dicks against us and get us to cut off our damned ear as a gift. I'm never letting one of them wreck this life I've built.

I went MGTOW very early at age 18 and I'm 23 now. Pre MGTOW I had a feeling marriage was a raw deal for mean because of alimony and child support. On VH1 I heard about celebrities having to pay millions for divorce but in those days I did not know how the law worked and thought the courts were biased.

I never been burned by a girl because I was too shy to approach the ones I liked. I had the mindset that I needed to impress them and be their king even though I never attempted. Now that I'm MGTOW I could care less how they feel.

I found MGTOW by watching Tom Leykis videos and my perspective on women and relationships changed. MGTOW helps me avoid traps. My awareness level is extremely high and I would rather make myself happy than being around bitter, toxic, ungrateful women.

At the college campus I have a blue pill roommate who was pussy whipped for three months and thought to myself that could never work on me because I am a MGTOW disciple.

In summer 2015 a really cute girl tried to take advantage of me while we were both in community college by making me buy her shit even though we weren't in a relationship. I knew she was still communicating with her ex and was just a shady bitch in general but had I not been MGTOW I would've fell for that.

Much happier. Also much wealthier. I can save a lot of money when I don't care about external validation. I started playing the 2006 version of world of Warcraft again, which was notorious as a time killer. I don't have a TV or Netflix, which are essential when getting laid. Life just seems simple and stress free.

4 years in to "monk mode" which became my new way of life- seriously, I have not touched a woman in 4 years (and no, I'm not an incel, was never a "ladies man" but I've slept with several women, lived with two and was married for 4 years).

So in these 4 years I have improved myself and my life in a multitude of ways:

-Positive when I used to dwell in cynicism

-In the best shape of my life at 34 years old; tan, lean and strong

-More outgoing, can talk to people much better.

-Less anxiety

-Depression? What was that again?

-Work smarter, not harder, but I do try harder/take less shortcuts

-Financially stable

-Own my own home and I keep it clean (used to be a messy guy)

-Procrastinate less (still working on this though, lifelong problem)

-Exercise daily (or close to it)

-Meditate, stretch and yoga 2-3 times per week (should do more)

-Ridiculously improved as a father....honestly a fantastic one now

I swear this is all true, and if it seems like bragging well it's not (I just want others to be able to achieve similar results) but I can't help if it seems that way.

And as far as the positive thoughts go: One that keeps recurring is "damn, I'm killin' the game." Another one is "I'm actually becoming a man now :)"

My hopes and dreams are simple: Keep the momentum going, be the best dad possible and continue having a great relationship with my baby girl (7 isn't really a baby now though), keep takin it easy and staying away from both sugar and the ladies, and slowly but surely buy some things I have always wanted and just enjoy myself.
