Also note the irony that is pervasive throughout that article... despite all the claims of "stronk independent wimminz" -- and notably also despite all of the "assistance" that the state provides to (mostly) women -- the article focuses on (seems to obsess over) the notion that it is ONLY women who are staying in "abusive relationships" because of "financial insecurity."
