This is common. Women want certain men to be off the market to their friends. I’ve seen men say the same dumb things. Personally I don’t care who anyone wants. If I’m not with the person (likely for a good reason) why should I care who’s sleeping with her?
Although for women it’s different. That’s a potential Hail Mary play for resources later in life. LOL
