How do you cope with the fact that you will never play NBA basketball? Don't waste brain cycles even thinking about it. Load your life up with things YOU want to do, places YOU want to go, and things YOU want to see. If you're lonely, you're not busy enough. Set some goals, make yourself your best friend, and show yourself a great time in this short life! There are millions of married guys who would trade places with you in a heartbeat. You're FREE and don't have to spend a minute catering or pandering to anyone. Never forget that.

I might be alone, but as ConstantChinner said, I'm not lonely. I am my own best friend and I require zero validation from others to feel good about myself. I'm also very unsusceptible to shame. Few things bothers me and I pursue knowledge and self development.

I cope with it quite well, actually. I used to feel the same way you do. I saw it through the eyes of desperation and anger and self-hatred. I felt lonely and depressed and desperate constantly. That desperation led to some very shitty decisions which in turn resulted in me being embroiled in some very shitty situations.

However, just because you are going to be alone, it does not mean that you need to be lonely. You can build up a strong circle of friends and do things with them regularly. Additionally, it helps to become your own best friend. Build self respect, self love and self confidence. You won't feel alone. Fill your time with things you enjoy or things that interest you. Pursue that hobby you've always wanted to pursue but never had the time or money to do. Pursue your interests and study relentlessly, do research on things that fascinate you, try to learn something new every single day. Being idle and bored leads to depression and feelings of loneliness. Don't let yourself stagnate. Get a pet. A dog or a cat or even something like a snake, guinea pig, rabbit or pet rats. Animals can fill that void if you want. I find that I get along with animals much better than I do with the vast majority of humans.

I've always done well with solitude. While I have a fairly good crew of friends, some men that are like brothers to me, I don't require the company of others in most circumstances. Some people don't have that and don't do well with solitude, though, and that's why you try and build a social circle. Additionally, despite being MGTOW, I have not discounted the chance of a better future. I am ever optimistic. Perhaps one day things will change. If not, maybe humanity will create androids and our need for companionship can be satisfied in that fashion.

Regardless, it's all what you make of it. If you think you're going to be lonely, depressed and desperate, that is exactly what you will be. But if you endeavor to keep yourself busy and engaged with life, that feeling will pass.

I've accepted it as a necessity. To get married or even to engage in long-term relationships is a fool's errand at the current time. Therefore, it is necessary for me to be alone. There is no other choice if you are rational and honest with yourself.

Work a job which requires a lot of social interaction? That's what I do. I don't want to ever think about retiring because I'd just rot away alone at home. I'm "on duty" practically all of my waking hours and it keeps me active and interacting and I never have a chance to feel lonely. It's not even about the money anymore, it's just to keep me occupied.

I plan to marry a 2D representation of my ideal woman, to outsiders I'll be widowed though because she's a ghost so... Yeah. 6 Years strong. I think it's easier for me since I have long since come to terms with the illusions marriage represents. You will never be more than a provider to her. You will always be a resource she has to manage, for HER kids. HER home. HER car, or her lifestyle. You will be the source of it all, and that comes with expectations that you alone must uphold else she can destroy you with a visit to a lawyer. It's difficult to truly love someone when you're holding a blade to their throat. Men are just hoping she would put it away and hold him. She is wondering how long she has to wait before killing the golden goose. Men can love and sacrifice unconditinally, we are expected to and conditioned to, and maybe it's in our nature to. A woman's nature is cold, calculating, and mercenary. Maybe it didn't always used to be. But then even in the good old days, with the most successful marriages, the grandmothers would say they just made it work. Not because of love, not because they cared. But because it was what they had. There's no love, and now there's no sense of ownership when it comes to a relationship. It isn't something to be maintained but thrown away. We are all disposable to them. I may as well not let me be used in that case.

The key is not to be with anyone in the first place. I guess not everyone is happy this way, get a pet if you must or have more male friends? Otherwise, platonic female friends aren't too bad so long as you understand you're just their backup and they can't really see you as a friend despite what women claim. Well first you have to work on your perspective. I don't feel alone or believe im alone because in more focus in the joy of being free and wild. I look at marriage as putting your arms out to the state and saying "take away everything from me."

I believe when you step outside of what is natural to the human condition that there is a possibility you will suffer and/or die. Marriage is not natural, it is a financial contract disguised in a suit of love. Monogamy isn't natural either, it's a social contract to secure each other's egos. What is natural and what is healthy is to simply live happy and stress free.

I know this because I feel good when I laugh or relax but feel terrible in anxiety and depression. I feel good when I fuck a one night stand and go do whatever I want for the rest of the day but feel awful when I'm being nagged at by the same woman I'm socially bonded to who takes away that freedom.

It's not about what others think and that's what I feel like you're worried about, others thinking you're lonely. And if that's what you manifest and focus on that's possibly the outcome you'll receive.
