Don't even worry about it man. GYOW, become an expert in your craft and begin something new, keep learning and living and just enjoy life without all the bullshit that a relationship would otherwise bog it down with. It's so much better being single I really don't miss being in a relationship at all and I've been out of it for like 2 1/2 years.

I tried online dating for years and years. I've never had good results. It's difficult to say if it's getting worse, because I'm just one person, but it did seem to get more and more disappointing and pointless in the later years that I tried it.

Over 15 years, I probably sent 1500 emails on those websites, introducing me to women. Of that, maybe 150 women ever sent even a single email back. Of those, maybe 50 women ever communicated beyond one email. Of those, maybe 20 women had any kind of a lengthy chat or set of emails with me. Of those, maybe 8 women spent any length of time getting to know me. Of those, maybe 6 women got to be friends with me. Of those, only 3 women ever actually met me in person. Of those, I only got one serious romantic relationship. That one serious romantic relationship turned out to have major problems and was not successful.

Now, I'm just an average guy, so realistically, I now know that I shouldn't have expected much from online dating. A so-called "Chad" would probably do much better. But to any other guy, I'd say don't expect much at all from online dating; in fact, other than teaching me about the dating world from experience, I'd say that online dating was a waste of time for me.

I came to this little corner of the internet the same way. I could not figure out why I was having such bad luck at dating sites. It is not you. It happens to all of us. The best answer that I have come up with is that women have somehow found a way to substitute male attention for sex.

I’ve recently been doing an experiment, where I’ve created a “Chad” profile. It’s basically me but the photos I use are of a severely attractive, 6’-3”, muscled, masculine-jawed man.

While it’s shocking to see how women behave toward such a guy, it’s even more shocking to see how much effort even that guy has to exert.

It’s funny because I was all over online dating when it first came around (early 2000s). Actually was easier to get those girls than IRL, for me back then. But around the late 2000s, it began to decline. And now, here we are.

It’s bullshit is what it is.
