A female coworker said this the other day when she was talking to her gal pals in the break room. A few guys overheard her, including me, but we didn’t say shit.

Now imagine the reverse situation: What if I was talking to my male coworkers and I said, “I hate women. I fuckin’ hate em’.” within earshot of even one of my female coworkers.

I can already hear the bees swarming “BZZZ BZZZ BZZZ A MAN SAID HE HATES US BZZ BZZ BZZ”

Knowing the girls in my office, the news would spread like wildfire. And within a week, I’d probably be fired. I’m dead serious. The double-standard is real, and it’s frightening as hell.
