Hey brothers, I was wondering can I get some advice and wisdom. Currently I'm in the Wind River Job Corps program for heavy equipment operating. So far I have a union job line up with the Local 3 In Utah. My roommate and I will also be working for them soon as an internship.

Now here comes my problem. I'm a pretty hard worker. I'm always working, well mannered, get along with my classmates, etc. However, I'm always making mistakes... I'm afraid this is going to get me fired from the union. For example, when I do a trench, I always messed up on something. It can be a small detail. My instructors and classmates told me I'm a good operator.. They even said I'm to hard on myself. Which is probably true. My biggest fear is getting fired. Even though my instructors told me I'm going to be just fine. So here is my question. How many of you guys are heavy equipment operator's for a union? What kind of advice can you give me as an apprentice? Can you get fired from the Union if you sucked as an operator, but you're a hard worker? And my final question, can you succeed in this career field if you're not so good at math? Any tips, wisdom, and advice is welcome!

Sorry for the grammar mistakes .
