Not to mention, past abusive relationships. I haven't met or dated a single woman in the past 15 years who hasn't been knocked about (or so she's claimed) in at least one of her past relationships. Quite a few have had children who were 'special' as well. There seems to be a lot of that going on these days as well.

The older they get the bigger the trauma / baggage gets. I used to think "let bygones be bygones" but that is not how the female brain works. Most don't seem to process the things they go through and move forward form past experiences. It seems to end up on a huge pile of unprocessed feelings and emotions which they can hide (and they usually do during the dating process) only to rear it's ugly head when you are playing a carefree video game or decide to hang out with your mates. Cue the "my abusive ex also never had time for me, I thought you were different BS".
Call me an a-hole but like the title says "I'll pass".
