This subreddit has been growing exponentially and while I see the spread of MGTOW as a positive thing, having such a large community also comes with a lot of drawbacks. MGTOW is supposed to be about men going their own way, or in other words, men abandoning the ideals of marriage and children.

Absolutely any man regardless of political ideologies should be welcome in the MGTOW community. However as this subreddit has grown larger it is becoming increasingly apparent that this specific community is being hijacked by the conservative partisan politics. MGTOW is not meant to be the male conservative version of feminism and yet that is what people on this subreddit are trying to turn it into. It seems like everyday now there are more and more posts that have nothing to do with MGTOW and instead they are just serving as Conservative propaganda.

I think it is perfectly fine to talk about your political beliefs in the comments section of threads here. However I don't feel that it should be acceptable to dedicate an entire thread to politics of any kind when it has absolutely nothing to do with MGTOW.

Personally I feel that partisan politics are bullshit and it is just a method of control for the elite to divide the populace. The conservatives are right about half the time while the liberals are right the other half the time. When you completely dismiss one side entirely just because it isn't "your party" then you are left with a failure of a system where people fight over petty shit instead of working together to achieve the best results.
