Memorize and then understand and then write what you remember without looking. Watch videos online etc. Change your approach to learn. Medical schools are very tough and there’s a reason for that.

When you give up living by others expectations you will be happier. When you give up that weight on your shoulder telling you that you need to be X by Y time, you are able to see the world a little better.

Live by your own expectations, chase your own goals, and be as free as you want to be. Don't be afraid of failure, as failure strengthens us, and taking our time learning from our mistakes have led us here.

Keep pushing my friend, don't worry about what others say about you, and continue to go your own way. If you have to, cut these people out of your life.

I failed med school in second year. Got least number in the entire class. 3 out of 100 in pharmacology. Patho micro 15 out of 100. Forensics got 34 out of 100.

Got gold medal and topped pharmacology at the year end. Now preparing for final year. Don't let anyone tell you are a failure. I run a startup along with my med school. Got a buissness running side by side. I don't have time to study whole year. Change strategy.

Do smart work not hard work. Contact your seniors and arrange previous 10 years paper. Just go through all questions. It will take a month tops. Don't study anything else. Maximum of med school is useless. You will learn most of the things that you will require in practice during clinical rotations anyway.

This is my studying strategy:

Feynman technique : Try to sum up what you've learnt on a piece of paper, find the meaning. The act of summing and recalling will reinforce the knowledge inside your brain.

Space repetition: Repetition is good, but you have to know how to do it. Instead of repeating a concept 20 times in a row, repeat it once everyday for 20 days. Ex: You repeat 20 different concepts once everyday, don't just repeat one for 20 times and never look back the next day.

Recalling: a much more effective method than just reading the material. Find the meaning and try to recall it instead of sitting there and read.

Test yourself: testing forces you to focus and recall the material and in turn reinforce the neural pathways inside your brain.

Get enough vitamin D: sunbathing in the morning

Get enough sleep: can't stress it enough.

Study everyday: if you just wait until the last minute to cram for the exam then you better spend that tuition fee for something else like learning a trade.

Edit: Fuck everyone else, instead of thinking you are a failure. Go think you just need more time to learn instead. Your self image is very important, if you have the self image of a failure then you will act like a failure.

Cut off all those people or any distraction and focus on studying.

Your worthiness is determined by your actions and results.

You're studying medicine. And lives will hang on your competence. Failing classes matters.

Would you want a doctor who failed his way through medical school?

Also, would you want a doctor from pic related?

Worthiness in Men is determined by their accomplishments and committments. Not their inherent nature.

What you are worth is what you build. Not who you implicitly are.
