I always have trouble with these kinds of statistics as they have to be self reported. So the true statistic is more likely "Women are 50% more likely to come forward about their cheating in the last 25 years" as the further back in time you go the more stigmatized cheating was therefore making women less likely to come forward about it. Women are likely cheating at the same or yes maybe more, but it's really impossible to glean anything from these kinds of studies except that women are more open about it.

During my 23andme results, I got my mom to agree to do it as well. Turns out that not only did my grandma sleep with someone that wasn't the man that was supposed to be my grandfather, HER mother (my great-grandmother) ALSO stepped out on her husband and slept with someone that wasn't my great grandfather.

This suddenly revealed why my mother looked so much different than her siblings and why my grandmother looked so much different than hers. Why? Women are now, have been, and will always be cheating, lying, whores.

In my experience the last five years as single women look at cheating very differently than men. They think the deserve a little side action and it’s nothing wrong with that.

Men know it’s wrong but sometimes do it anyway, usually cause the partner at home is a dried up boring land whale 🐳, and they meet a younger girl looking to trade up and get all tingely, the poor bastards.

As per NOW & AOL (in 2004 stats) ,50% of married women cheat on their husbands anyways, 75% of women file a no fault divorce and in 80-90% of cases women get the child custody.
