I remember watching a documentary years ago where this older British guy had married a young Thai girl. I remember that he got stuck living with her with no way home. Once she got all the money from him she pretty much stopped "loving" him.

I remember an awkward scene where he tried to talk to her and she was pulling away. It went something like this.

Man: Can I get a hug? Please Tip. Come on.

Tip: Goodbye. Maybe forever.
