Lots of female doctors, lawyers, and engineers completely drop out of the field to have kids. If you want kids, then feel free to take a risk on it. If you don't want kids, you should be very clear about it so you're not wasting her time.

You're free to do whatever you want, but you need to be aware that women change. Men are known for never changing. Women are known for changing, especially after having kids. Guys get blindsided by this because they assume women are just like their guy friends - the same as they were 10 years ago.
