It's known but never really discussed just how much female dominated narcissism occurs on Instagram. It's essentially a billboard for women to advertise their sexual market value for the hordes of drooling anonymous men. The defense that these half nude/yoga pants images are for their own desire to look attractive to themselves and or other women exclusively - does not hold water at all.

I can't even count how many of these profiles I have stumbled on that include a donation link in the description. Donation for what? Your ability to spend 30 minutes in front of a mirror to find the angle that best captures your pockets of cellulite? Good on them for finding a way to abuse a system and monetize it - but I think we as men need snap out of it and stop providing undeserved attention and money to these sorts of people.

If women are going to be doing this to such an extreme, it would be actually be MORE dignified to just sign up for a pornographic platform that is designed for what some of these women are pretending to not be doing. I think people fear being accused of sexism because of simply how large Instagram is as a platform - Yet there was no issue what so ever calling out this sort of behavior in the earlier days of Twitch (Maybe because its more obvious on that site.) And I don't think this should be brought up more often simply because its disingenuous and repulsive to a person not falling for it, but this trend clearly does not empower women - It causes other less attractive women to feel less self worth and importance.
