The cat is out of the bag as far as I'm concerned. Do you believe that outlawing abortion will reduce promiscuity? Perhaps by a tiny fraction.

Even if it doesn't, it will still save a lot of lives, illicit abortions will not realistically have the same throughput as state-sanctioned ones, and even if it does, at least the taxpayer and voter is no longer accessories to murder.

It might get some women to be more careful about using condoms and birth control (which is far more responsible for promiscuity than access to abortion), and it might mean more men stuck paying child support, and also a return to back-alley abortions, and more neglected unwanted children. Are neglected children good for society?

I'd ban condoms and other forms of contraception as well. Men who reward slutty behaviour in women with sex are part of the problem. Men are the only ones who can realistically be responsible in the matter, women lack the necessary judgement.

As for the neglected children, being a neglected child is not good, but being murdered is much, much worse. Besides, the more people have to lose and the less they have to gain from promiscuity the less likely they are to do it, so I do think banning both contraception and abortion will have a positive effect on society.

If you're concerned about society how about forced abortions for all pregnancies conceived out of wedlock? That would punish women for being promiscuous.

Why should the child be punished for the actions of the mother, by execution no less? It makes as little sense as aborting babies conceived by rape.

A better solution would be some kind of institutionalisation of the mother with the child, either on an outpatient basis if the maternal grandparents can take responsibility for supervision, or on an inpatient basis to provide the children with some semblance of male role models, while preventing further promiscuity in both mother and child as well as crime which boys born of single mothers have a propensity for.
