I went on a road trip this summer and wound up a camping spot inside Yosemite at a campsite. Cabin tents, showers and a restaurant. Glamping is the term I believe. At meal time they group you with other strangers, so first mealtime I'm in a group that consists of an elderly couple, a middle aged couple with 2 teens, a single mom about 35 with 2 preteens, then me mid-fifties male. Everyone introduces themselves and then the questions start, how old are you?, where do you work?, how long, married?, how long divorced? I know the drill. The single mom isn't asked one personal question. Also the single mom is flirting hard, which I ignore. I see the sights the next day and check out the following day. Single mom catches me as about to leave and tells me she had hoped I'd stay and hang out with her.(wink wink) I politely say my goodbyes and leave. What kind of desperation of a 35 year old woman makes me look like a good option. Probably 20 year age difference. Sad.
