Women don't out-earn men, they get more Master's degrees in BS like women's studies and family therapy which will get you a nice 35K a year career or maybe 20K a year as a Starbuck's barista.

I'm middle-age and I could have a girlfriend in a week or two if I wanted one. I'm nothing to look at, but I'm not completely repulsive and I'm reasonably nice, and more importantly I'm completely financially stable (decent house, job, etc). There are tons of near-wall and post-wall women who would be happy to date me if I just play my part. I could have a 4-5 who doesn't have kids, or I could probably have a 7-9 who has kids.

However, I won't go near any of them because I've learned that lesson the hard way (not as hard as many around here, but hard enough).

They're not in it for the intellectual stimulation. They don't want to partner up and take on life together. They're along for a free ride, and they'll be happy to milk me for all I'm worth. I might as well marry a boat anchor and then go deep sea fishing. When I don't meet their behavioral expectations they'll joke in public about sending me for retraining with some strong-willed relative/etc, and that is when they're in a nice/playful mood. When they're in a bad mood they will do things like unilaterally spend money, or threaten to divorce rape me, or just pester me until I'm about ready to jump off a bridge.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

So, yes, if you want a girlfriend you can certainly have one. Just save lots of money and then make sure the girls know you have it. They'll be happy to give you a turn at spending it all on them.

I see the value of a MGTOW mindset, and I mostly agree with it, but I know there are a few, if even just a handful, of women out there that aren't mischievous whores just wanting to bounce on a pole, blast through credit cards, and be completely supported by the government. I was in a relationship not too long ago that ended because she wanted marriage and kids but those were things I wasn't ready for. I'm still young (29) and I want to live more of my life before I bring a kid into it. We had to split because of it, and it sucks because she's one of the few women I've known that checked off a lot of my boxes. She had other issues that kept me from thinking "Yeah, this is the one," but for the most part she was leagues ahead of the other women in my life. She didn't care if I made less than her (I did for a year or so). She wasn't a snake looking to blow through my cash or sought other guys behind my back. Put it differently, men want to be stronger in any relationship. To make women happy, it comes down to his ability to provide, and secretly men prefer to be earning more, just as much as women expect it. If the man has control over this foundation, everyone else can remain happy. So yea, women want stronger men so that she can relinquish the control over to him. I admittedly do this as well since I don't want to work longterm if someone else can. I have a boutique business now, but I prefer that I'm not stressed or busy, or expected to have to pay the bills (when that time comes). I worked hard to find a position so I wouldn't have to actually work. Does this make sense? Of course not because you're a guy who's entire being thrives on hard work. I chose freedom over power. We've evolved to prefer certain things, and this is one of them.

Girls these days earn a lot more, a lot more of them get masters degrees than guys according to recent data.

I would question the data. It doesn't mean they earn more. Women tend to choose fluff jobs, like marketing or.....marketing, that don't earn them powerful positions. I know a few nurses who make a decent living, but I'm speaking generally. Women don't want to work (a lot), and so they utilize the luxury of education to not have to work. It's a false reality that women earn more because they are more educated. I believe they are more educated (depending how you define educated), but stuck with heavy student loans, and debt that a mediocre job won't pay.

On top of that, you should have a nice body, skills, be popular etc.

I never measure a man's popularity. I prefer that they don't have a lot of friends, because I would feel less adequate to maintain him/keep his interest in what we have. Body and skills are important, but subjective.

See my first part about this. The important thing is the potential of a man's earning. I know plenty of men (a couple friends, and work clients or colleagues) who are looking for careers and have 5 figures in their bank accounts. They have savings, and potential to land a high-earning job. Usually, men in their 30's are building towards this, so I expect a man who is 40 to be on his way to earning more than 31.

This girl clearly offers nothing to the table. She just wants to procreate and take your hard earned dime. I wouldn't consider her advice of any value. She doesn't have the intelligence to comprehend how money works, except for her selfish needs. I would question her ability to be a good mother, and question the man who married her.
