I don't know if text posts are allowed, but might as well. I realised something ironic about using the term 'just friends' to friendzone someone.

As far as I've seen in my life, people who are are 'just' my friends have been with me through no matter what. They've helped me without judgement and are there to help any time.

On the contrary, women who have 'loved' me have cheated on me, stolen from me, lied to me and quite literally arranged to have me assaulted.

The fact that women consider 'just friends' as something less than 'love' demonstrates their absolute incapacity to understand either love or friendship. To a woman, friendship is some lesser status than 'love'. "Friendship" is a term used by her to signal that you are not worthwhile to provide her with what she wants. "Love" means that you can give her what she wants. Nothing deeper.

In reality, true love and friendship are indistinguishable. They are bonds between people who seek to ensure that they both benefit and prosper. "Friendship" is not less than love. It IS love.

As 'emotionally' intelligent as women are proclaimed to be, they cannot separate their innate-desire from the concepts of love/friendship. A woman can only love a man she is attracted to and/or can extract resources from. A man can love a friend he has no attraction to and who, in fact, is actually a burden to him.

We've never said it, but I know my friends love me. On the other hand, countless women have said they 'loved me' but I doubt a single one even knew what those words really meant.
