I hated geometry. Worst math I ever took. When I finally learned calculus it all made sense. Like why did you waste half a year for me when you could have just taught me how to derive the 1000 equations in the first place? At least try first. If I don't get it, talk to me slow. But why not assume I'm smart and pander to the dumb instead of pandering to the smart and catering to noone?

I did great at geometry/trigonometry as long as I had a diagram to look at. Very visual learner, as long as I can draw it out then I can figure it out.

What fucked me up were all the identities/transposing.

At least it's not fucking algebra. I've used geometry in my adult life, physics and accounting on a daily basis, and I'm pretty sure I will never use advanced algebra the rest of my life unless I decide to teach algebra. I'm more likely to put my dick into a blender than I am to risk a #metoo being a teacher and it's pay is shit.

Tl;dr algebra is worthless. They should teach people accounting and how to balance a fucking checkbook instead of how to draw a U on a graph with numbers and letters.
