On a basic scale of 1-10 of your overall status, which is a combination of many factors, this is how women see you:

9's, 10's - You are actively sought by women. Women make excuses to be in your presence. It's very easy to invite women places with little to no effort. No trouble getting phone numbers. Women instantly respond to text messages. Texting occurs at all times of the day and night, using lots of emojis. Ghosting occurs rarely. Hookups happen with little effort, usually on a weekly basis. Women push for commitment. The duration of relationships is at your discretion. Other men gravitate toward you because of your gateway status with women. Both women and men regularly invite you to things. Women often want to take pictures with you. Social media friends number in the thousands. New friend requests every day or almost every day, often from people you don't really know. Trouble remembering the names and details of many women. Have options almost every night. Usually seen out with a woman or groups of women. Women are generally enthusiastic about your presence.

7's, 8's - Women enjoy flirting with you, when it's convenient for them. No trouble getting phone numbers. Usually respond to texts, but only after minutes to hours and usually with short answers. Conversations relatively short with you putting forth most of the effort. Difficult to get women to commit to any sort of meetup, but you usually get an excuse. Frequent excuses are "I don't know what I'm doing later" "I'm really tired," and "We'll see." Ghosting occurs semi-regularly. Hookups happen when convenient for the woman, usually on a monthly basis. Women do not push for commitment. Relationships are usually short in duration and usually ended by the woman. You do most of the inviting. Women sometimes want to take pictures with you. Social media friends number in the hundreds. Friend requests come from people you've actually gotten to know. More nights alone or with male friends than with women. Usually go out in mixed groups or with a single woman on a classic date scenario. Women are generally accepting of your presence, but not necessarily thrilled by it.

5's, 6's - Women generally don't bother with you, unless there is something in it for them. Women make excuses to avoid giving phone numbers. Immediately friend zoned the vast majority of the time. Text messages often go unreplied. Ghosting occurs frequently. Women use you for favors, study buddy, moving help, taxi service, etc. Occasional hookups usually resulting from "right place, right time" or alcohol consumption. You do most of the inviting and only among a core group of friends. Women only want to be seen in pictures with you in a group setting. Social media contacts mainly consist of fellow students and co-workers; few new friend requests on a regular basis. Most nights spent alone, but usually go out only with a "group of guys." Women are generally ambivalent to your presence, but annoyed by it if you make any advances.

Sub-5 - Don't register to women as anything other than friend material at best. May be considered creepy, weird, etc. Any push for a phone number or romance is met with the woman leaving or enlisting a white knight as a buffer. Women may use a "boyfriend excuse" even when single. Texts go unanswered or at best answered with "Who is this?" Routine contact with women limited to a few co-workers, fellow students or bartenders/waitresses. Hookups rare or non-existent. You rarely get invited to do anything. Women do not want to be seen in pictures with you. Initiates all social media contact, which women may accept only out of politeness. Most nights spent alone or with male friends. Women, even waitresses and bartenders, are generally annoyed and possibly troubled by your presence.

Analysis: As we can see the vast majority of men are being kicked around when it comes the dating game. Only the 9's and 10's are having any fun and it's difficult to gauge how many of them there are. We all know one or two of these guys but it's unlikely that we know very many. Their total might amount to less than 10% of all men in the Western world. The 9's and 10's can pick and choose their women from a constantly shifting pool of women who make their interest known. Their status comes naturally to them and they can't understand how others may struggle in this area. They generally keep their status no matter what they do in life. It would take something along the lines of a catastrophic accident to make them lose their status. The 7-8s are simply treading water, struggling with all their might to keep their heads above water. They are the backup guys, and are routinely used for social proof while jockeying for position in line for one of the 9's or 10's, or as potential providers when the time comes. The 7-8s are only one slip up, be it a layoff, an arrest, debt collection, aging, etc. from falling much lower. The 5's and 6's are either willing slaves to women or are clutching to a proverbial lottery ticket with odds not much better than the Powerball. To women, they are only as good as their current utility dictates. The Sub-5's are in danger of offending women wherever they go, simply, by their presence. They usually gravitate toward solitary activities for this reason.

This is the sad state of affairs of modern male-female social interaction.
