I had a talk with a young guy recently, who was on the verge of becoming at least libertarian. He was talking a bunch of positive stuff about communism and I brought the topic of the soviet block into the discussion(I lived in it) and I just started red-pilling him on how the life was back there and then. He actually took it well . Then he talked about his religious parents etc struggle with becoming more and more atheistic etc.
Sometimes the convo git's gud. It was kinda hartbreaking he had no-one to talk to about these issues IRL, but he told me about mgtow and I laughed. The dude is Probably posting on here or lurking.

My family fled a communist country, I've had relatives thrown in labor camps and neighbors disappeared. Some of the comments in the default political subs make me want to vomit.

What most people don't know is that REAL COMMUNISM, the way Marx envisioned it, is actually libertarian in character. It has nothing to do with an oppressive totalitarian state, it is about the people genuinely controlling their lives through controlling the means of production. Think 3D printing or the open source collaboration to develop Linux, those are examples of real communism. No one is forced to do anything, it is voluntary collaboration.
