A couple of days ago I made a post about my buddy and his girlfriend leaving him. Well today he posted his rather lengthy side of the story on fb.....Lets count all the red flags he overlooked.

This message is to my friends and family who may wonder exactly what has been going on, or may have not gotten the truth about the situation. So I will start from the beginning. I began a relationship with someone back at the end of November of last year. Most of which just consisted of us talking on the phone and on facebook every single day for like 12 hours a day. She quickly became my best friend and we developed a very serious relationship. Around February we started seeing each other. I did this knowing she was living in her child's father's house but felt that I had let enough time go by to be proven there was nothing there anymore. I did everything i could to respect this guys home and his role as the childs father. Everything went great for quite a while. Dating, meeting each others friends, etc. Then, I found out she and baby daddy still had something going on. But I let it go and chose to forgive her because in my eyes we weren't really together at the time. She and I split up and stopped seeing each other for around a month. After that month passed she and I began seeing each other again and made the decision that we were going to live together. I was beyond excited. Because I had actually fallen deeply in love with her. And I really thought she had me to. We moved together to Clarksville to begin a life together. I literally moved away from my family and my friends. I paid for everything as she was assuring me as soon as we got up here she would get a job. She did, she worked there one day and quit. I spent upwards of $4,000 to try to give her and her son a stable, safe, loving home. I did everything I could for them. Everything was going great for a while. Then she starts feeling bad. She made me believe she was pregnant with my child. I saw her do the pregnancy test but never saw the lines. But I was ecstatic none the less. There is nothing more I've ever wanted than to be a dad. Then around a week goes by and she tells me something is wrong. That she thinks she's having a miscarriage. Extreme pains in her stomach, ridiculous blood, I'll save you the rest of the details. But I took her to the hospital. They of course said she wasn't pregnant. After we left the hospital she continued to try to convince me that she had been pregnant and lost our baby. I wasn't sure if I believed it or not but I tried to be there for her regardless. She had a very mean attitude after that. The following Tuesday I asked her to marry me. And she said yes! Once again I was beyond happy. I finally had everything I ever wanted. A girl that it though that loved me. And a little boy to take care of. I loved her son with all my heart. Fast forward to this past Friday. I got up at 4am and went to work a 12 hour shift. The whole day texting me she was snobby with me and asking me repeatedly to find her drugs because her knee was hurting. I allowed her to think I was doing so to get her to calm down. I finally got home around 8pm Friday night. I walked in the house with and bottle of wine and gave her a kiss and said hi babygirl. I could tell she was in a bad mood. I tried to find out what was wrong and she jumped up off the couch and walked to the kitchen counter and in a very rude voice said "I'm going to Nashville tomorrow", I said "ok why" and she began an argument? She says I yelled at her. I did raise my voice, but I did not scream at her. She then picked up the phone to call her child's father and said "me and the baby are coming to you", at this point given I've been disrespected by this man before, "I told her cool, you want to call him then get out. I repeated for her to get out numerous times. She was yelling and screaming the whole time. It's funny now, her son came to me during the fight, and sat in my lap and hugged me. I gave him kisses and hugs and told him I loved him because I knew this might be the last time I ever saw him. What's terrible is I didn't want her to go. I wanted her to come back to me. But she has a lot of psychological problems that many people know about. And she has been off her medication for over a month and a half. I chose to ignore those when I got with her in hopes that I would be able to help her help herself. She left and said she went to her brothers house Friday night. But I knew better, I knew where she went. Because the guy had been trying to get her back since she left. I slept on the couch in my own apartment that night because it didn't feel right without her there. I got up and went to work the next day. The last text she sent me that morning when we finished talking was "love you, more". I then came home from work that night to find everything gone. Everything I had bought for our home, even the curtains. She had paid for nothing. Not a single thing. To say I was upset was an understatement. I literally felt like my whole life was taken from me. All I did was try to love her and her son and I have been put in an very bad situation because of it. Breaks my heart because I know this isn't the woman I fell in love with. But I can't help her anymore. I still love her and that little boy with all my heart. But I've had to let go. Please do not contact her in any way. It will just make the situation worse. I just hope you guys don't think less of me because I didn't take action on the signs I saw sooner. And again, thank you all for your love and support. This has been very hard for me. But my head is focused on the things I have to do. Family, faith, friends, and work.
