Anyone, man or women, should face some sort of legal ramifications for violating fidelity in marriage, though. Otherwise, the state is pretty much only recognizing marriqge as a means to gurantee support for women.
As it stands, a woman can cheat on and humilate her husband and in almost every state he will still lose custody of his kids and be reduced to half his economic station for many, many years. I fail to see how this is any better.
