It’s like that scene in Dragon Ball Z when Vegeta beats Goku in the Buu Saga by catching him off guard and is like “So Kakarot, even you can prove helpless when you drop your guard”. This is even more true for Hypergamy with woman. Goku by that point in the story should’ve known not to trust Vegeta and that’s how Goku was defeated, his naive good guy ways got the best of him even though he was the better fighter.

As a former chad, this is completely true. You can be the most alpha dude out there, plan and work on things so everything is just perfect, but it's never enough.

The bar keeps getting set higher and higher, and eventually out of tiredness or perhaps a bad day, you fail to provide the required "tingles". And just like that, according to her, the "magic" is gone.

That's when you're relegated to doormat/utility status, any semblance of "love" is just gone. It might take months, years, perhaps a decade, but know this; it'll happen eventually, no matter what you do. Heck even Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp weren't enough for their partners, and they pretty had all the advantages a man can hope to have in the dating game.
