I'm quickly de-red pilling as practice and fully embracing MGTOW instead. TRP as practiced by its adherents seems to be nothing but senseless philandering and unearned self-importance. They ironically center their lives around women by rejecting relationships but endlessly chasing "the holy V". They talk about not letting things control them such as TV or food but incessantly yammer on about getting laid and dedicate their lives to it.

It's a phase people go through. You're horny, you want to fuck everything that moves and is vaguely female.

Of course, no one tells them how stupid it is if you aren't maintaining operational awareness and thinking strategically, just blow your load in as many women possible.

And most of them will end up married or knocking someone up.

I'm still physically attracted to women and even lust after some but my logical mind has been the stronger part of me than my libido or craving for female companionship. Which is kind of funny because you learn from TRP and some PUA that it's usually thinking less (along with alpha behaviors) that get you laid.

But the thing that PUA doesn't teach you that TRP does is that it also gets you in trouble. Fully understanding female nature brings about a real wisdom about you that will make you question your body's most natural thing in wanting to fuck and procreate. If things were different in society maybe but it's just not worth it.

Mgtow is right to go their own way and don't give a fuck about what ever happens with a women sexually or in life. Really people who shame mgtow as neckbeards or virgins are really not understanding mgtow and the stance they are coming from. They also don't understand that the shaming is meaningless. We simply don't care what women or really anybody thinks about us in the dating department.

These guys in TRP are still clinging to their own SMV. If these guys let that go they would be mgtow. Being mgtow doesn't mean you no longer have high SMV and it certainly doesn't mean you stop doing things that increase your SMV. It means you simply don't care about it anymore. That is what sets you free.

Still go on there to read the stuff about being social, power dymanics, cultivating interests etc but I identify more with mgtow now. The red pill got me laid, but didn't make me happy. It felt like a nuclear arms race and I was losing.

Absolutely agree. Was out watching a band in a fairly empty bar last night. The band were excellent and there were a few older guys watching the performance... but in front of the band were several girls dancing. Or attention-whoring as I now see it.

Later on two over-dressed glamour chicks came in and started taking selfies, prancing around etc.
I was focusing on the band but the attention-whoring dancing moved in front of me a few times...

They received zero attention and after a few attempts went back to their selfies. And I could go back to watching the band!

Years ago it used to be about applied psychology, identifying behaviours both male and female and actively addressing the norms and drives etc. to ones advantage in all interactions, not just dating or picking up. It used to be interesting, but now it is literally just "hold frame bro", "spin plates"

I have nothing against TRP. I love to read it like this sub.

The core ideas (physical health and exercise, expanding your mind intellectually, learning trades, embracing masculinity, etc.) are talked about on both subs. Both say it'll make you a better man. They just add that it helps in getting laid. This sub doesn't do that.

What I enjoy about this sub is it embraces that and others. This sub wants men to be men and be free to persue their life, liberty, and property how they see fit. Want to go TRP and chase women to get laid? That's going your own way. Want to not chase women and just use escorts? That's going your own way. Want to focus on bettering yourself for you and not women or others? Going your own way? Want to shut yourself off from society? Going your own way.

There's a mix of philosophies here which never makes this place boring. Sure, there's a core of focusing on oneself but how many see that is interesting and unique.

Its no worse than all the whiny ass posts here talking about what women are doing. For men going their own way, this place really has an obsession with women. At least red pillers are using women as disposable fuck toys for their gain instead of pretending to be independent and then slaving over women
